Word Games Answers —

Daily solutions update automatically at midnight UK time. Same puzzle for every player each day.

How to Play Each Game

Quick rules for every daily game on this site. Answers above match the same puzzle date.

How to Play Quordle

  • Guess a valid five-letter English word and press Enter.
  • Green = correct letter, correct spot.
  • Yellow = correct letter, wrong spot.
  • Grey = letter not in that word.
  • One guess counts on all four grids — you have 9 shared guesses.

Tip: Pick opening words with common vowels (A, E, O) and different consonants to clear multiple boards early.

How to Play Octordle

  • Same colour rules as Quordle, but eight grids at once.
  • You get 13 shared guesses for all eight words.
  • Scroll or tab between boards to track which words still need letters.

Tip: Solve the easiest board first — confirmed greens often help the harder grids.

How to Play Waffle

  • Swap adjacent letters on the 3×3 grid (horizontal or vertical).
  • Form six valid words — three across and three down.
  • You have 15 swaps; green tiles are already correct.

Tip: Fix corner and edge letters first — they belong to two words at once.

How to Play Tightrope

  • Change one letter at a time to move from the start word to the target.
  • Every step must be a real dictionary word.

Tip: Work from both ends: find a middle word that shares letters with start and target.
